Telus Spark Science Centre has been awarded the 2023 Silver Award of Excellence from Interpretation Canada!
Their program, Cloudy with a Chance of Science, was a four-day in-school experience that introduced grade 4–6 students to the wonderful world of meteorology. Cloudy with a Chance of Science was part of the GenAction/GenerationAction initiative, a Canada-wide program made up entirely of CASC member organizations.
GenAction’s mission was to inspire young climate heroes to take climate action. The program’s goal was to reach over 200,000 youth through grant funded programs.Telus Spark’s contribution to this goal included 9,600 youth engagements between 2022 and 2024.
