Our Reach

Our collective impact

CASC’s ultimate goal is to be a leader in Canada’s thriving science and innovation culture.

This requires diverse participation, engaged citizens, evidence-based decision-making and critical thinking, a skilled workforce, and action on global challenges.

Supporting change

Increasingly, research shows that public STEM engagement and informal learning experiences have a proven impact on changing interests, behaviours, and beliefs. The CASC network advances social change by being a supporter, connector, and champion for our members, extending their reach and strengthening the impact of their work.

The work of our members:

  • Supports the joy of lifelong STEM learning
  • Connects science & society
  • Breaks down barriers for structurally marginalized groups
  • Actively addresses truth & reconciliation recommendations
  • Collaborates to tackle global and local challenges
